Our mission is to inspire Wonder and reward Curiosity to create lifelong learners and artists. When we Create we build community and in community we thrive.

We are located in the heart of Wheat Ridge Colorado right off 38th Avenue and offer dynamic and engaging art education for Everybody!

We have art classes for kids ages 3 to 18 as well as after school art clubs. We offer art camps when school is out during the Summer, school work days for teachers in both Jeffco and DPS and holidays. We host “Kids Night Out” the third Saturday of the month where you can drop your student off for an open studio style night of fun.

For Adults we have a rotating line up of classes and workshops as well as Date Nights the second Saturday of the month, Grab your partner, bestie or bae and come have a creative night out with us. This is an excellent opportunity to learn a new skill or refine what you already know.

In our teaching we focus on process over product and encourage play and experimentation in artmaking.

We have a bright, playful studio, full of love and laughter that we welcome you and your family into. Join us to build a thriving creative community in Wheat Ridge.

The art Sweet Ridge Studios helps my daughter produce is AWESOME! Many of her projects are framed and hanging on the walls of our home. She has a blast making art while she makes new friends! What Our Parents Think

We love Sweet Ridge Studios and Melinda! We have been doing the summer camps and holiday camps for years. My kids always look forward to them. They enjoy the huge variety in planned projects and the opportunity to create freely. I love that she offers full day or half day options and always gets the kids outside. Melinda has the perfect demeanor to work with kids. She is calming and relaxed and at the same time gets excited about each child’s art work. She is so knowledgeable about different mediums and techniques, and it’s amazing how she can pass this knowledge and love of art on to children of all ages and abilities. When my child heard that Sweet Ridge would be coming to our school for after school programming, he was ecstatic.

What Our Parents Think

Sweet Ridge Studios has consistently impressed us, session after session, with the caliber of work tackled, the creativity fostered, how engaged our daughter gets in the new skills, and the keepsakes that result. Embroidery and quilling projects have produced some of our favorites! Additionally, the learning environment emphasizes inclusivity and builds confidence. As a balance to the competitive nature of so many other extra-curricular activities, art club at Sweet Ridge Studios has been an upbeat, positive growth experience for our tween-ager. Thank you!!!

We love Sweet Ridge Studios. Our daughter has taken several sessions with Ms. Melinda and Mr. Tim and they are both wonderful, talented, and supportive artists.
